Our School
St. Patrick’s BNS is a Primary school for boys in Portarlington. There are 315 children attending the school. We have children from all over the world attending the school and encourage the integration of all nationalities and cultures.
Throughout the school we promote positive behaviour within classrooms and also encourage children to partake in all the extra-curricular activities on offer. Teachers run several after school activities including Football, Handball, Soccer, Badminton, Tag Rugby, Golf and a lunch time Games Club. We also have a fantastic School Band.
The school currently holds the Offaly FAI and 7-a-side football titles. We have also been in the last 4 Cumman na mBuscol finals, winning it once.
We were awarded our first ever Green Flag in May 2010.
